bleaching/killing coral with t5's
would a nova extreme pro (6x39watt) bleach or kill LPS or softies that require less light....should I stick with a 4 bulb retrofit at 156 watts. this is on a 46 gallon bowfront

I would get the 6bulb or even 8bulb fixture and only put in 4 bulbs.. that way you have room to expand if you need more light in the future.

I would deffinitely get the more wattage, there are many ways to have your corals adapt to the new wattage. This also leaves the opportunity of housing almost any type of coral in the aquarium.
