oceanic 1/10 chiller ??

i have my chiller set on 78,the temp is up to 80, chiller doesnt come on til its 3 degrees over the settingof 78,same the other way,are these things super precise or do they vary a few degrees,like the heater wont come on til it drops a few degrees under the setting??

Well I only have experience with three different brands. But fwiw some do seem to be off. Others are actually well set and you should be able to set the degree differential with them.
