I was given a 29 reefready tank for free it has a small leak in the bottom. I know how to fix that but this tank is drilled with 2 holes one hole is 1 1/2" and the other is 2" what size bulkhead do I need for them?
which hole is the drain and which is the return? thanks, mike

You'll have to look at a specific brand of bulkhead to figure out what to use in those holes. Each brand has different wall thicknesses, so the makers often recommend different hole sizes for the same size pipe. (Example: for 1" pipe, 1 maker might recommend a 1.5" hole and another might recommend a 1 5/8" hole.) You're best bet is to find the brand of bulkhead that is closest to the hole sizes already drilled in your tank.
Generally, the larger hole is the drain hole.

Well the drain is always the larger of the two holes. Your 1.5" hole is for a standard 3/4" bulkhead. That will be the return. Your 2" hole is a little odd. Are you sure it's 2? Usually you would have a 1" bulkhead for the drain, which requires a 1.75" hole. 2" is a little bigger than necessary, but not big enough for the next size bulkhead.
Here are some bulkheads and their required hole sizes. http://www.marinedepot.com/ps_Aquari...strainers.html
