need help on new fish?
went to the local fish store been watching this cardinal fish in their small display tank for 3 weeks the fish looked great. then i got it home and put in my tank i notice that his eyes looked like it had a film on them. the next morning the right eye seemed swollen and white looking film. what is this? what should i do?

I would set up a quarantine tank and get it in there asap
then repost this in the fish disease forum

It sounds to me like he may have popeye. I lost a pajama cardinal to that. Get it in QT and treat it asap. I believe there are meds for it.
