Maroon Clown with other species of clown?

I have a Gold Stripe Maroon Clown that i have had about 4 yrs. I know that they do not get along with clowns with similar stripe patterns such as a percula or ocelaris. How about a tomato, clarki, or skunk? I think its is still probablly a no go.

I made that mistake.. I had a maroon clown for 2 years then I introduced a skunk clown. A week later the skunk chased the maroon out of the tank.

That was one of my many early learning mistakes. When I first went saltwater I had a Maroon Clown and added a Tomato Clown. They fought for two days. On the third day the Maroon Clown had its dorsal fin ripped off of it.

After that day they got along fine.

I was fortunate that it worked out. It was not fair or pleasant for the fish. Most of the time they both get wounded and at least one dies. I wouldnt recommend pairing two different Clowns.
