What is your favorite fish that is reef-safe and can live in a 55gal tank?? (along with a pair of clowns)

though I wouldn't suggest him until your tank is mature.. i really shouldn't have goten mine yet... though I didn't know that at the time.. Still no excuse, I suck |

I don't have a jawfish but I agree that they are cool. I like my mystery wrasse.

Hawaiian Flame Angel but they are not always reef safe.
If you buy the fish while your tank is fish only and add your corals slowly he wont nip them. |

I second for mystery wrasse. Any type of reef safe wrasse is sweet. Psychadellic wrasse is also one of my favorites. 6 lines are great but are bastard children that have little man syndrome. They love to pick fights with fish added after them.

I vote for Jawfish. 2 are much more entertaining than 1 as they steal each others rubble around their caves. Very fun fish if you have the substrate and strategicly placed rock on the tank bottom.

every tank must have a lawnmower....
i 15th the jawfish. i have 3 yelllowheads in a dsb...very entertaining flame hawks--pricey, but well worth it
