75g n MH

Would it be to much light to have 2 400watt MHs over a 75g. help

To Reef Central

I would use two 175 W or 250 W bulbs. The 400 W bulbs are overkill, will generate more heat, and you might need to raise them well above the tank to control brightness.

depends on how deep the tank is.....2 250's on a long tank ...or 1 400w over a tall tank would work IMO....

I wouldn't go with the 400's unless you plan to keep ONLY corals that need extremely high light. 2x 250w would be perfect for your tank. Also, as stated before heat is an issue.
