Cleaning coraline algae?

Hello I have a 30" deep quarter cylinder tank and it is very, very hard for me to clean coraline algae off the bottom of the tank. Especially on the front glass which is curved.

I found this product called the easy blade which attaches to a magnet cleaner. Here is the link:

http://www.easybladeusa.com/

This thing would be perfect for my problem but, it is not acrylic safe.

Does anyone know of a similar product which may be acrylic safe or another solution altogether?

I have never used one, but saw a clip of one in use and it looks like it worked pretty good.

Yes but it is not acrylic safe. I was wondering if there is an acrylic safe version?

Sorry. Didn’t read your post carefully enough, but I did dig this up for you. . .

you can buy replacement blades for acrylic scrapers I would think with a little modification you could make it work like the one in the picture

as a side note, I rigged up a scraper on a extendable painters pole that stays on my back glass and make cleaning the back glass a breeze!! Just took one of those magnetic cleaners and used JB weld to attach the pole to the outside half when iam done I just collapse the pole and it hangs behind the cabinet out of sight...

Just get a snorkel and mask. Its kinda fun anyways.

But this is exactly why I would never buy another acrylic tank for myself.

Tagging along for good ideas.
