Can anybody give info or link me to some info on how to culture isochrysis? i would like to set up a drip system into my display tank straight from the live culture. I guess i need to know how to build the initial setup.

Have you cultured phyto before? If not iso is a hard strain to start with, you may want to go with tetra or nanno. How are you wanting to drip it? Im assumeing your not talking about straight out of your culture station? Im sure it can be done but you do know that when you culuture phyto you have to keep it cold for it to remain alive long distances. I wouldnt drip it straight out of your culture station being you may have a culture thats only into day 2 or 3, you dont want to put that phyto into your system. You want to make sure its mature.

No, i have never cultured any phyto before. I was looking over some lab results and it showed that no products on the market are near as beneficial as live isochrysis. So, if your right about dripping non-mature cultures into the tank than i would have to have some type of holding tank, but from what i understand iso loses all effectivness after being stored even for 10 minutes. I'm also aware that dripping straight from the culture would include harmful metals as well which means i would have to up my water changes.
