Electronic Ballast Question
I just got a couple of chinese made 250 watt electronic ballasts, which came from a reef lighting fixture. These ballasts powered HQI bulbs before being sold to me. My question is, does anyone have experience with these types of ballasts who can tell me if they will power an SE bulb. Second what are my chances of frying the ballasts if I do try it on an SE bulb, if the ballast was made for an HQI bulb? I know that some ballast can go from DE to SE bulbs, but not the other way around.
Thanks for any info J |

I don't have any documentation on the ballast or any brand printed or stickered on the ballast. I'll post pics tomorrow.
