AquaNotes Lite Graphing Won't work - ACJR
Hi, I got an ACJR with a DC8 for christmas and I'm finally to the point in my build where I'm setting up and programming my ACJR. I downloaded AquaNotes Lite (AN Lite) I have no problem with the logic of my program or uploading it to the ACJR, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the data off the ACJR and into the graphs in AN Lite.
I even found a tool that lets me open Jet DB .mdb files (the format AquaNotes uses to store data) and the tables are completely empty... it's as if AN Lite isn't writing ANYTHING to the tables. Probbably because I'm not telling it to do what I want correctly I'm trying to get a better idea of my temperature stats over time, and going through the log menu on the ACJR just isn't cutting it. Any suggestions on something I'm missing/doing wrong? |

I was poking around in the menus... and I happened upon an entry called "Retrieve Data Logs" under the Database menu at the top bar. I was hoping this would be a post where I say how dumb I feel cause I got it to work, but that's not the case. Still can't get any data out of the ACJR into the graphs or databases.
Reef Tank Status works 100% Uploading Programs works 100% Manually turning items on/off works 100% Any and all data graphing tools - 0.00000% What gives? |

I'm guessing you're talking about the Help -> Registration menu? Yeah I tried that and it didn't do anything... tried to re-retrieve data logs and all that business with no effect. Also, the Program Editor menu shows the correct serial number for my ACJR... so I'd have to assume it knows I have a real & valid ACJR.

I dont have my laptop with me at work but on the lite version, there are 2 places to enter your serial code of the ACjr in not the software serial number.

Thanks HellboundX, once I put my serial # in the Database -> Tank Database menu it's been working like a charm.
What a stupid configuration issue, you'd think a program would ask you for such an important piece of information the first time you run it or during the install process. |
