You will here multiple opinions regarding the Remora/Urchin line. IMHO they are medium quality skimmers at best (I have owned 4 in the past, and still use one on my softy tank where DOC load is not as critical). My experience has been that they vary in quality from one skimmer to the next, and they skim okay on some tanks and not very well on others.

If space is an issue, there are now some very good skimmers where the pump is actually located below the skimmer body, or in the bottom of the skimmer body. I just installed an MX160 on one tank and have had very good results so far.

For 200bux i'd go with an Euro Reef rs80 or a ps150 octo. Both will work very well. I'd pass on the urchin.
