180 gal reef
i want to build a 180 gal tank any sugestions on equipment? skimmers ,sumps,lights . also uv sterilizer yes or no?

Its all going to depend on your target corals. Skimmers and pumps as well as lighting all vary greatly with what you intend to keep as well as bio-loads and the like.
If you post if you are aiming at mostly SPS, LPS, Softies or a mixed reef it would help. Also check out the large reef forum as it will have some info and topics posted already. I`ve been reading over them the last couple months since I was planning a 180 and went with a 210 so I`m looking at upgrading some equipment also. There are a bunch of great people as well as some really knowledgeable people here that will be able to help you out the whole way. BTW: WELCOME to reefcentral
