sad day

today i lost my first fish after 3-4 months of tank being running

1 perc tank bred clown to what looked like some form of disease it happened so quickly i was unable to identfy it and act (jinxed myself sunday by saying i havent lost any fish to some1 i lfs)

i was planning on being up early to get hospital tank and some meds but it was already to late

hope some1 can fill me in on what it coul have been through a discription

yesterday afternoon i noticed the clown was looking a little ragged on his fins (like he had been squabbleing) the one section of his body had a little bit of slimish looking white stuff on the back end of one side (only a little bit) went to work yesterday evening and got in around 9 last night the slime was no longer there but i did notice under his chin (lol) he was starting to lose colour and go very pale in that area almost white thats all the symtoms he had so any help would be appriciated

tested water after removing the litle fella from the claws of my crab and all params were fine

sg .23
nitrite 0
nitrate 0-5
ammonia 0
ph 8.3

been stable like this now for well over 2 months

200l (50G) system Currently with LR but will be hosing corals in a few months

thanks fella's

will start another topic regarding introducing same or similar fish!
