AquaC Nano or Regular AquaC remora
I have a 26gallon tank that is a mixed reef with very few fishes. Should I go with the AquaC Nano with a MJ1200 pump or a AquaC remora with a MJ1200 pump?

From what I hear, the nano would probably work. But, if you have any SPS and you want them to thrive, get the remora. Check the SPS forums or equipment forums. It's typically better to overskim, even in a nano.
Some other guys who have experience with these skimmers should chime in though. I've never had either. My remora's on order for my 28g SPS dominated nanocube. |

I just went through this same thing. In fact I thought this was my thread- LOL.
I just received my remora with maxi jet 1200. I've spoken to those with the nano and put a MJ 1200 on it and love theirs. If you want to upgrade down the road you are stuck with the nano though- IMO good luck! Brian

I would definitely go with the regular. The nano is rated for up to 25 gallons, the regular 75. Much better to go larger for a skimmer. I am running it on my 28g with good results.

Well I now have a problem with my standard remora and aq24. I have a maxijet 1200 on the sump return and a 1200 on the remora and without the M.H. on the temp this morning was 80*. So Now i have to figure out another way for flow, good skimming, and keep the heat down.
Always something!
