Skimmer recirculating pump placement
What would the ideal height of a recirculating pump for skimmer be. Where should the outlet ideally be where should the inlet ideally be. Near top? Near middle ? ???

The lower down you have the outlet the more height you have for the bubbles to go up the water column. The only downside to have the pump outlet very low is that you will get bubbles out the drain of the skimmer and the pump will be sucking some of the bubbles back in also.
