Bubles comming out of substrate .
Tank is ten months old have bubbles that come out of substrate. They cling to all power heads and intake, heater ect. There realy preavealent late afternoon after lights been on 5 or so hours . sand bed about inch and a half . I never see this in LFS when you look at there tanks. Good or bad ?

IMO....gas.....nitrate converting into gas.....all good.

at 10 months I agree its nitrogen gas.
That is evident of full biological filtration : ammonia--nitrites-nitrates-nitrogen gas which bubbles off I would worry more if you were dosing low magnesium with epson salts over a long period of time--can cause a build up in deep substrates of hydrogen sulfide--a poison gas

Is there just bubbles or do you see algae/cyano growth as well? That would be more of a concern since you see it more when the lights have been on a while.

I got green algie on glass like they hace in LFS stores wipes right off but have rust colored brownish on my substrate. I feed only every 3 days Just seems one thing different every week. I actually noticed this on my sand after adding the nano coral and mushroom pack I from live aquaria a week ago.
