You can use the powerheads but the filter is not a good one i would recommend an aquaclear 110 so you can turn it into a fuge.

the filter could be used to house carbon or a type of phospahte remover. I googled it and it says it can move 500gph so its moving a vast amount of water espceially in a small tank. I'd say yes to all 3 of them being used. Just curious what type ofsetup are you going with fish only or reef?

i turned my aqurclear into a fuge, is really not that hard,
basically u take the plastic holder cut it up and use silicone to glue it the filter in a way that cheato wont flow out of that area, and get a clip on lamp for lighting and that'a about it there is a thread on the diy forum where i found it,but cant seem to find it now |
