Red bubble algae: Red Valonia. what do I do

so i noticed a very small patch of these red bubbles in my tank. I am not sure what they are, but I think they are red bubble algae. they look alot like this picture:

read a little lower on the page it gives a pretty good detailed description on how to remove it. Are you ure thas what it is and not cyano (red slime) it also produces bubbles. A pic would help in the determing factors of a proper ID and removal.

Botryocladia isn't really a pest species like Valonia, similar appearance but an entirely different type of algae. No need to get excited and/or worry about it. Many people like this algae because it eventually grows a vine-like structure and is quite nice looking. Tangs love the stuff. I had some of it in my tank until I added one.

That was green bubble algea. I think you have is cyno bacteria or red slime. http://www.melevsreef.com/id/algae.html

Could be from lack of flow, water source , maintance , age of tank , stock , amount of LR and LS , ect..

The only way that worked for me was to remove the rock. Pick them off with something sharp to make sure there isn't any remains, and scrub the area. I had no luck with the other methods.
