Anything I'm forgetting?... Adding a sump!

I have my tank setup for a long time now and am just about to add a sump.

Tank ~ 140 gal of water

Sump ~80 gal freshly mixed saltwater.

Other than just turning the pump on and seeing what happens, is there anything I should do before mixing all the water together?

I've added prime to the water and also added a heater so they're almost the same temp. Don't wanna miss something and kill all my fish!

can you give any more specifics on the way your sump is set up, or maybe some pics?
what is your main concern?

How long has the saltwater been mixed? I would give it atleast a couple days to make sure its fully mixed.

my main concern was adding about ~80g of water to my 140g tank.

It's like doing a 35-40% wc on a 220g tank! I don't want to crash my tank or anything with so much new water.

I'm sure that all the salt is mixed as I've had 3 Seio 820s + the pump from a CSS mixing it all together for about 12 hours now. (20g of it was actually already mixed, so only about 60gal of new water).

i'm thinking of just turning the pump on and seeing what happens!

shouldn't be an issue, but since you asked , might want to check your PH make sure it's not off by alot. But sounds like it's ready to fire up.
