copepods

Does anybody keep these in their main tank, not the sump? I under stand they are great for keeping nitrates down, but did not know if there was any negative effect on you're tank

At night when the tanks lights are off, grab a flashlight and get a shirt and cover the lens, so there is barely any light. But just enough that you can see in the tank, you will see pods all over the rock, sand etc.

I guess my question is. I just got done "cooking" live rock and have restacked my tank. Should I add copepods to my tank or am I still ok?

You will have them either way. Nature will take its course.
