saltwater shelf life ?
If you removed salt water from a working, running reef tank into a 5g jug.
How long will that water stay good? Or is it re-usable? |

As long as it dont get too warm or freeze. I am thinking it should last a week. As far as keeping bacteria alive. I know I kept a 55gal drum of a tank once when I was moving to a nother tank. 4weeks later I opened it and it smelled like a rotten egg fart. Witch it didnt bother me becuse it was going to be used to cure rock to start with (the smell did bother me ewww)
