Hot! Hot! Hot!
Just kidding. I dropped mine in the water and now I just use the cheap glass one, works great. Those small electronic things are pretty fragile in my experience, try putting the battery in and back out or test it by putting your probe in the freezer. |

The receiver is not getting any info from the transmitter that's for sure. When I turn it on it goes to HHH right away.
I tried new batteries and holding down the reset button. Piece of crap if you ask me. |

Yeah, go with glass. I believe they are the most dependable since they rely on physics and not calibration. Not to mention they are very cheap and when you drop them in the water they dont get fried.

Have you tried new batteries in the sending unit as well?

You need to buy a new temperature probe/transmitter unit (the reciever should still be fine). I had this problem with a unit I sold to someone and emailed the company, that's where my answer is coming from.
