visual timeline of progress when using rowaphos and other phosphate tools?

I'm working on getting rid of some hair algae. I am just wondering when should I start to see a dent? I'm running rowaphos in a phosban 150 reactor. I have heard people say 2 weeks, so far I am finishing week1 and not much difference. I may not be using enough but will leave it for 2 weeks and see what happens. Is it one of those things where it is gradual die off or you wake up one morning and it's gone? Thanks!

If it was already heavy then these add ons maynot help. This is just the thing i try and prevent. There are many factors in play and alot more info is needed.
Tanks age and amount of LR and LS?
Whats used for water flow?
Water readings you test for and there levels?
Stock from coral to fish to CUC?

here is a recent pic of the tank, mostly just some hair on some rock and back wall. My water source is RO but reads at 2ppm so not sure if that is good enough. Tank has been running just over 3months with success just some nuisance algae and bubble algae as well. Water tests perfect but i am getting a highend phosphate and silicate test kits to be sure.

right side is a tunze 6025 with the flow mod done to the case so it's like a 6045 now, the water in the tank is definitely churning, lot of currents and undercurrents etc. Top left is return pipe from my sump which is 1000-1200litres per hour. Main tank is a 45gallon

The return is less then half its rateing from that distance. I would add more flow and get some CUC in there. Get some good flow pointed at the hair algea that seems to be around , im guessing the return , for better control.
See how its more in one area. Flow Flow Flow. For algea control and nitrate control.
