Mandrian Goby Pole on your luck with these fish

Well I love these fish, however I have read up on how hard they are to keep. Wondering what your experience has been. Any imput would be appreicated

I find mandarins to be the easiest least maintenance fish there is.
You just need a large anough and old enough tank. They take care of themselves and do not need additional feedings.

I agree with Paul as long as you have a good size tank at least 55 gal. with a fuge that has been running for a year you can keep a mandarin. You also need plenty of rock.

I would have said three years but it is hard to say. It depends on a number of factors which are different for every tank.

Easy fish, as long as your tank is mature enogh and if it doesnt have any other fish to compete with for food such as a sixline wrasse

Simple fish too keep, all it really needs is a good supply of pods. I have had mine since the 3rd month after tank setup. The key was to have a 20 gallon refugium on my 90 gallon, and boost the pod population with one of the 500 pod bags on ebay. My mandarin is now very round and happy with this.
