Color of sand????

Hi,
I am thinking of using black sand in a 12 gal nano cube deluxe. I am wondering if white sand would be better to help reflect the light for sps corals. It has the power compact lights and not MH. What about pink sand? Is black harded to keep clean?

Sand color doesn't matter and is only for decoration (never heard of it reflecting light) but white reef sand buffers better than black (from what i hear) and yes IMO black is hard to keep clean because if white particles fall into it you will immediately see it while for white not really.
