How to encourage Zoanthid spreading to new plug
Hi, is there an easy way to encourage zoanthids to spread to a plug. I have a small colony that I want to add to other parts of the display. Is it as easy as placing a ceramic plug touching the original colony? Thanks!

I would just frag off a small portion (5-10 polyps) and super glue them to the plug.... voila!

I agree with mille239 if you don't want to wait. Zoos are pretty easy to frag. They usually peel up off the rocks with a little help from a razor or flat blade of some sort.
If you have alot of patience, placing a plug up against the colony should work too. |

Just be sure to wear eye protection if you're going to try to pry them off the plug... they can squirt some pretty toxic stuff. Oh, and keep your mouth closed, too!

Frank tells Elaine about his affair with a Korean woman:
Frank : I loved her very deeply, but the clash of cultures was too much. Her family would not accept me. Maybe it was because I refused to take off my shoes, again the foot odor problem. Her father would look at me and say : "Ono, Enawa, Shuyu", which means : "This guy... this is not my kind of guy". |

alright, I cannot, with good conscience, hijack this thread anymore with Frank Costanza quotes. Although I would love to.

Let me understand, you got the hen, the chicken and the rooster. The rooster goes with the chicken. So, who's having sex with the hen? |

Frank: How long it takes to find a bra? What's going on in there? You ask me to get a pair of underwear, I'm back in two seconds...you know about the cup sizes and all? They have different cups.
George: I-I know about the cups. Frank: You got the A, B, C the D. That's the biggest. George: I know the D is the biggest. I've based my whole life on knowing that the D is the biggest.
