spastic clown
My female true perc is about 2 1/2 in long maybe 3in. The last few days she has been going under my pink and green tip frogspawn. She tilts herself backwards so her tail is about 1/8in of the sand. Then she just sends her body into this spastic shake and just send my sand flying. Why is she doing this?.Its like she is trying to dig a hole with her tail. I have had her and her male friend ofr a year now.

Hi, my pair of clowns do this all the time sometimes during the day but mostly just before they settle down for the night. Its as if they are 'fluffing' their pillow before they get their head down.
I wouldn't worry to much about it. It makes me laugh when i see them doing it if i'm honest. |
