Metal Halide Question
Ok here's the problem. We bought two Pheonix Metal halide bulbs from premiumaquatics.com. When my dad and I tried changing the lights we got the old one out but we couldn't get the new one in. We couldn't get the new bulb in behind the UV shield. I already got my fingerprints on the old bulb so we can't try putting that back in.
We have a guy coming in later in the week to help us change the bulbs. becuase of this we've been running the tank w/ no lights since Thursday. We still have one of the bulbs in, so is it ok to just run one of the bulbs and have just half of the tank lit? Or should I just run the tank w/ no lights until the guy comes? |

Run the one that works. You can clean your fingerprints off the old bulb and still use it too. Not sure what your worries there are? The only problem is if you didn't get your prints off and used it.
