they said it has the same Kelvin rating as the sun but I am not sure how that would look in our tanks

I called the company who makes it and they said they don't sell to public, but only to distributors.. Left a message to the "VP sale" and see if I can make a deal.

Their product is a component of their end customers product (ie projector or DLP TV). They do not have a standalone lamp that is anything close to what we would want. The video depicts some sort of jig that they created for the purposes of showing how intense their bulb is. My question to them was if they could provide the bare bones product and then we (hobbyists) could retrofit into something like a LumenarcIII.
