10g 40 w lighting

Would it be worth it to get a 40 w current 20" fixture over my 10 gal that will house a mantis?
this is it:

current 40w

or a corallife like this:

corallife 28w

what could i keep?
Im not assuming anythign but whick is better to crow good algae like coralline and to keep the tank lit and healthy fowlr tank

If you don't plan on keeping many coral, just go with the 28w fixture.

Wait, isn't a 10 gallon only 12" though? Why not go with something 12" like THIS
Coralline algae actually grows better in lower light than really high light. For a mantis, maybe some macro algae, and some mushrooms or polyps 18w should be ok.

Yes, I am aware of that...
I was just giving him a link, it's cheaper than the one he listed. Who knows why, but it's listed as almost half price.

that sucks on the canada price. It's a great light though.

I have alot of lps in the tank and wish I had gotten the sunpod 70w metal halide. You should be able to find one used for cheap...

Just my opinion....

good luck

what kinds of things could i keep under the 40w? Im going to BA tommorow so ill probably pick up the current if they have it. Eventually i too would like to try MH lightign like the sunpod but i think it will gain some experience with softies before i get to advanced lighting for me.

b_van.. could i see a pic of your nano setup with the current light please?
