nova extreme question

i want to change my bulbs but cant seem to yank the acrilic shield out
it seems to be stuck any suggestions

They typically get stuck from dried salt building up along the grooves where it slides in and out, just take a spray bottle with warm water and soak the edges of the shield and it will dissolve the salt in a few minutes. Don't use too much water though or it will drip through and get the inside of the fixture all wet.
