I am slowly making my orders and getting my items together for my come back to reefing, but I have an opportunity to do something I couldn't do before. Where my tank is going and where I want my RO/DI (In the laundry room) is seperated by a mere wall. What connection fitting do I need to connect the RO/DI to the water connections that the washer is connected to?
I've been planning on going with Aqua-Safe as I've used them last time with nigh a problem: http://cgi.ebay.com/AQUA-SAFE-AQUARI...742.m153.l1262 I apologize that a lot of the pictures are not working on that listing, but the water connector options are. Is there an option I could exercise listed or do I need to visit Lowes to connect my RO/DI between the water source and the washer? Many thanks... very excited to start! ![]() |

If you can find a Y connection at Home Depot or Lowes, and that vendor sells a Hose Bib Connection, you'll be set. Some Y connections are made of brass, others out of plastic. Some even have little tiny cut off valves to turn each one on or off as needed.
This is one type you'll find at your hardware store: ![]() |
