Feeding Question
With those of you with a drilled tank or hob overflow, how do you feed your tank? Do you turn off the return pump so that the water drops below the overflow teeth or do you just allow some of the food to flow over and into the sump and protein skimmer? I've been turning off the return pump so that the food doesn't flow down into the sump and then when the fish eat it all then I turn the pump back on but doing this is starting to get old.

i turn off return when im feeding. leave it till most of food is eaten then get it back on. otherwise you end up with most of the food either in the filter sock or ur sump.

Ok. Thanks for the replies and it looks like the majority do the same as I. I may just put the return pump on a timer and then feed on a specific schedule to correspond with the timer.
