cloudy QT

My hyposalinity QT is getting very cloudy. I've done a couple 20% water changes and it hasn't improved noticeably. I had cycled the tank by just dumping in some food, so I'm assuming I used too much food and this is a bacterial bloom. Ammonia and nitrite are 0, nitrate is about 25, pH around 8.1, alk around 120 ppm. The fish seem fine--they're active and eating--but I'm not sure if the bacteria pose any threat. The cloudiness also makes it difficult to observe them and spot feed the mandarin. I was thinking about adding some Maracyn Plus or some other antibacterial medication to kill off the bacteria causing the cloudiness, but wasn't sure if this was the best way to go. Any suggestions?
