ev180 help

For the life of me I cannot get this thing dialed in for more than a week or two without the air regulator getting clogged with salt. I recently had the skimmer off for a day while I cleaned the sump and all the pumps, everytime I think I have it dialed in again it overflows the collection cup within an hour. The bubbles in the reaction chamber are really fine the whole way through, not fine towards the bottom and progressively bigger as it usually does. Any thoughts on this? Ive got it running on a mag9.5 throttled back quite a bit since its been overflowing as of late.

Anybody using a different type of device beside the normal valve for the air injection to dial these things in? Ive been using this skimmer for the past 8 months and have had relatively good success with it.
