I finally got a lot of my stuff in!

I've been waiting over a month (which has given me more time to research...and end up ordering more stuff) but I got a lot of my stuff in today!!

Since I ordered everything else priority, they should be getting here soon also...and I may be up and running in a couple of weeks.

I updated my on-line list (click the red house above or the picture below) to show what I got and what I'm still waiting for. I'll keep it updated if anyone is following my plights.

I'll probably be spending the rest of the night getting to know a little about my new equipment, hands on, as I am so excited to finally have it.

Here's a quick picture of it all:

I see you have the red and yellow box calcium reactor.

I have the same one. Becareful when you get it running.
The motor on mine does not have any secure latching and there wasn't any type of "click" feeling when to know it is secure to the device and water was all over the place. Even eyeballing the thing didn't help me and the thing could turn around 360 degrees
non stop.
I didn't manhandle mine so I know I didn't break it.

Oh yea, there'll be a tank thread...any and all advice will always be welcome!

I'm still waiting on more stuff though...

Yes, the box he is talking about is a protein skimmer.

For a list of what I have now and on the way, click on the red house...I made a simple web page with pictures as links to more information and all.

Thanks everyone! It was kind of like Christmas...lots of boxes to open...the only difference was that I already knew what I was getting...LOL.

I got more in today (red house link above updated)!!

I was able to get the RO/DI unit all hooked up today, and even made up a batch of RO water and drank a cup.

I'm still not able to get the rest set up yet...still waiting on:

Ordered, but no word on shipment yet:
MarcoRock (waiting on availability...he just recently got the shipment in)
Sump / Refugium (said they would send Monday...but no tracking number yet)

Ordered and sent over a month ago:
Salt

Ordered, sent over a month ago, but had to be resent...so sent just shy of a month ago:
Stand

It is safe to drink, right? I got a splitter to tap off the RO water to make clean water for the family to drink.

There may be a difference between commercial/home grade units and aquarium units though... not sure

I have The Filter Guys Ocean Reef +1, they told me that RO water is like bottled water from the store.
