Schedule 80 vs schedule 40

Is there any real reason to use schedule 80 vs schedule 40 on most reef applications?

Besides it looks cool as can be?

I assume it is manufactured for high pressure or critical applications.

It will flow less, the ID is smaller.
I agree it looks cool though
