Running 2 skimmers
You guys think it would be ok to run a 2nd skimmer while my 1st skimmer is breaking in? I am breaking in an ASM G3 and I have my spare coralife 125 from my old tank. I've had the G3 running for about 4 days now and I guess it takes about 2 weeks to break in. Appreciate any thoughts on this.

no reason you can't run two at once, throw it in.

The only thing that may happen is the CSS may not work because of the oils from the new skimmer and pump. But running two skimmers doesn't hurt anything.

I ran my G1 in a vinegar bath overnight when I first bought it. Its been skimming great since then. I am running 2 skimmer also. Water your water temps with extra pumps in the water. My 2 cents...
