Question is it any good

Well after my cpr overflow box failed it's time to clean up the mess and buy a good overflow box. I know everyone suggests the lifereef but I seen one on foster and smith called eshopps it also uses a U tube design unlike my cpr but it's half the cost. Is there a reson for the price difference? Would I end up just buying a lifereef in a few months when this fails? Anyone use these things and happy with it?

I use a simple U-tube one, no name ebay one... worked fine for 2 years for me with no issues.

I've been very pleased with both my eshoppes overflow boxes, never overflowed on me yet. I've used several different brands of u-tube style overfflows and so far, they all seem pretty equal, never had a mess and the oldest running overflow has been going on 3 years. ONe has ran for the last year without ever even having to start a syphon on it , through several power outages as well. The eshoppes box should be just fine, and a heck of alot better than the cpr.
