Question 4x65 watt w/ moon lunar lighting system

I'm about to purchase either a 2x65 watt PC w/ blue LEDs or a 4x65 watt PC w/ blue LEDs for my 29 gallon I just started. I'm very new to all of this and was wondering if $250 for the 4x65 is a good deal, and if $105 for the 2x65 was a good deal. I would like to put corals in my tank and would want to have to upgrade in 6 months.

with the 2x65 I would get about 4.5 wpg and about 9wpg with the 4x65

I would plan on using 3 10k white light bulbs and 1 blue light in the 4x65 fixture if I got it. What exactly is the benefit to using the blue light besides it being more pleasing to the human eye?

I guess it depends on what brand cause to me that isnt a bad price at all. I had some PC's given to me, 4-65's 2-blue actinic 2-10k. I have them staggered on my 100 along with some other PC's.

Thats about what I paid for my first PC's. It all depends on what corals you plan on keeping. You can also run into VHO's,T5 and MH for that price used. I would prefer MH and would probably buy a small 150w or 175w pendant to hang over the tank.

Looking to do some LPS, mushroom, soft corals, polyps, and xenia. I've heard that pretty much the only ones i wouldn't be able to do are SPS with this sort of light setup. There is no identifiable brand from what I see on the light fixture so I dunno who makes it.

thanks for the replys
