GAC And GFO Replacement?

How often should I replace GFO and GAC?

Replace GFO when you start to see your phosphate start to raise, probably around 3 months or so.

Gac should be changed about 2 weeks

I replace both about once a month. The actual time the media last varies from tank to tank.

Once a month is good. I test for phosphate every couple of weeks. I try to keep mine less than .04
