Aquascaping Question
Hello, I am setting up a 70gallon tank, and I am getting close to buying live rock. Hence I am almost ready to aquascape.
I want to try and create a pinnacle structure on one side of my tank and therefore I will need some strong under water adhesive. Reading various books I came accros Z-Spar Splash Zone Compaund (a-788). Has anyone had any experience with this compound? is it any good? Any other other adhesive any of you could recommend would also be appreciated. Thanks Matteo |

If its your first time then just dont pack it. Leave open areas for flow to pass by. Also after you learn more and buy coral your aquascape needs may change. Many if not all change there rock work around a few times the first yr. I used pvc to creat a box i placed on the bottom in the center and placed my best rock on it.Lets flow get through and fish love it creates a ledge. Packed rock only collects uneatin food ,fish waste and other debris that become nitrate bombs.

You can drill the rock and connect them using acrylic rods. I have used Aquamend epoxy for gluing but it was for some gorgonians to attach to rock. Not sure if it would be strong enough for your purposes.
