LR placement

has anyone attacked LR to like the back walls of their tank to make like ledges? thought this would be cool, but I don't know how someone would do it?

It's generally not a good idea to let the rock rest on the back glass--can stress the glass out over time.
Reefers will drill the live rock and use plastic dowl to create ledges

Current Tank Info: 150gal long mixed reef, 90gal sump, 60 gal refugium with 200 lbs live rock
