Plumbing Help...
I have a 125g tank and I plan to have two corner-overflows installed soon. I plan to run a wet/dry, 25W UV sterilizer, and an EV-180 protein skimmer. I have 2 eheim 1262 pumps. I have read that the eheim 1262 is great for the EV-180 (so there goes one) and the other I plan to use a return pump (there goes the other). Do I need a third pump for the UV sterilizer which has 700gph listed as a flow rate? Can I plumb the EV-180 after the UV Sterilizer and just use 1 pump and then use a timer to control the light on the UV sterilizer? Any help is greatly appreciated... Thanks.

The Eheim 1262 is rated at 900gph @ 0'. If you look at the pressure curves you will get 792gph @ 4' and 720gph +/- @ 6'. If it were me I would just run the output of the return pump through the UV to the tank since that would be the flow rate you listed. Figure your head pressure and can look up the exact flow rate for your application.
