Venturi attachment for MJ1200
So I have a MJ 1200 I want to use to run my Remora HOB skimmer. The pump comes with a venturi type attachment and adjustable valve. Problem is the thing just shoots water out and sucks in no air.
I even extended the hose to about 3' above the skimmer, still water pouring out. Any idea what I am doing wrong or do these things just not work? Thanks.

I don't see why you would want to be sucking in air on the mj 1200 when your remora uses an injection method for skimming.

To add more air into the skimmer.

Have used a Mag 3 and Mag 5, still very little skimate. Also tried an Eheim. In comparison my RPS 1000 pulls out more skimate in a week then the Remora pulls in a month, on the same tank.
Not to sound unappreciative, but really just looking for info on the venturi attachment for the MJ 1200.
