Thought of adding a DSB(at least 3") on my current 4 mnth old display tank(FO with some corals) using a grade 0 sand. I was just wondering if it gonna affect any of my LS? Thnx

To Reef Central if you add about 1" of sand on one side of the tank, then a week later add another 1" to the other side of the tank then a week later start all over till you get to the depth you want you will be fine just don't cover the whole sandbed at the same time. |

I hope that you know he was referring to live sand (LS) not live stock (LS). If you want the denitrification value from a deep sand bed you might consider a remote deep sand bed. Discussion of this is on a sticky in the advanced section.
And welcome to reef central!!
