I have been recommended to use a bulb with a kelvin rating between 5100k - 6500k

I just went to walmart and bought some GE 6500k daylight twisty compact florecent bulbs. They come in the blue packaging.
20w is what I have now but have used the 23w version to, both work great. I run my fuge light 24/7.

Those should work good, but Melev had better results with the PC floods (build in reflectors)

You could try to find the bulbs Melev used online, but I also found a 6500k PC flood at home depot for $8.
