MH suggestion for 37G

I have a 37G tank that I want to upgrade to MH. I removed the center brace and replaced it with 1/2 inch acrylic, so I don't have to worry about the shadow. But I have been looking at the MH/PC actinic combos. Any recommendations on ones to go with? The Orbits are 15" wide and the tank is only 12" wide. I have been seriously looking at the Sundials because they still have the actinics but are only 13" wide. Also, are the actinics completely necessary? I like my fish to "pop" with color and that's why I assumed I needed the PC with the MH, but if I don't let me know. I am a noob when it comes to MH. Thanks for any help and input.

I'd run a sunpod as the width is perfect for your tank.

No actinics, but go with a 250w and run a nice 14k or 20k bulb and your golden!

Ok, so you think I will get the same "pop" even w/o the actinics. And what is the difference between the 14k and 20k bulbs? I know it has to be a color issue right?
