Best Way To Add Pods
My tank has cycled base rock and dry rock so unfortunately I don't have any pods. I have a fuge with chaeto setup and very porous rock as well as dry rubble rock that I'm cycling and I want to know whether I should buy pods or if it would be better to buy live rock rubble. Also where can I buy the best pods online?

Chaeto have pods in it. The refuge is a safe haven for pods. They will multiply and they will eventually make their way into the main display tank. I would not spend more buying pods when you have some all ready. They are like Baybay's kids "They don't die the multiply.

I'd agree. There are some online vendors selling pods, but if you have a fuge, with chaeto, you are likley all set..

Had a pod explosion.
Place my fuge beside the window with chaeto...and boommm.... You could get some chaeto from fellow reefers. Much faster that way. |

people on these forums sometimes don't read the questions they're answering.
i would just buy a bottle of pods from live aquaria or from someone on the forums. if you buy live rock you'll probably be set, but i would just get pods so you don't have to worry.
